About the Event

The Forward Thinking Chiropractic Alliance is proud to kick off its Regional Event Series by hosting the first-ever chiropractic event focused on an Evidence-Informed Approach to the care of Pediatric, Pregnancy, and Postpartum patients.

While the profession has been treating these populations for decades, there continues to be limited options for evidence-based courses within these specialties. We intend to begin the conversation, and the practice, of a coordinated and intentional movement towards this goal. With the P3 Summit, we seek to provide an event where healthcare practitioners learn new skills they can implement in practice immediately with a strong understanding of the special considerations for these unique patient groups.

We also intend to challenge the attendees to raise the bar of what it means to care for these populations, and be an expert clinician in the topic. Although the United States has one of the most advanced healthcare systems in the developed world, conservative care options during and even after pregnancy are still not accepted standards of practice within the medical community. Pediatric conservative care is poorly understood around the globe. Sometimes it even receives a reflexively negative response from the medical community and public who do not understand its intent and mechanisms of care.

Through the P3 event, we intend to empower clinicians to be more savvy and more understanding of the approaches they apply with these populations, and to come away from the course more confident and capable to serve a population that needs evidence-informed, conservative care.
